Importance of a travel insurance

Frequent travellers must be familiar of what travel health insurance is. We are also aware of it when travelling. But because of the additional cost that we might be having, my family doesn't have it as a necessity. This thriftiness in us I know isn't good because we are dealing with our lives here. What ever may happen to us, say accidents, food poisoning, or something unexpected will completely be out of the country's responsibility.

My friend whom I said is travelling to London was praying for her safe because she declined to get a travel insurance. I just wish everything will be fine.
