It’s been over 4 weeks since I started having a tickly throat. But the past week has become unbearable as it is now associated with pain in the side of my tummy and throat. It seems that it is here to stay. I’ve done what the doctors have advised as they cannot give antibiotics. There is nothing in my chest anyway as the doctor checked it. I just cannot believe and imagine why this is happening. In my past two pregnancies I got nothing to complain but the normal back pain that every pregnant woman has.

I am hoping that this cough would subside. I am really tired.

Just to be in the safe side I decided not to take anything for my cough that has been here for over 2 weeks now. Yes, I am in my 31 weeks of pregnancy and that has put me into some hesitation whether safe or not to take any medicines without my doctor’s advice. The last visit I was asked if I am alright since he noticed me having to catch up with my breath and cough at the same time. The dear husband is also sick so I had to put my worries aside to make him feel good about it. You know that men are very weak when they are sick, even a slight headache!

Well, I am having a warm drink with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Even lemon now has to be checked properly if is safe for the baby. I just couldn’t afford to worry about having done something to him after I took ibuprofen a couple of weeks ago when I had headache that only that particularly drug could act fast! Paracetamol didn’t work for me the night before that. I didn’t know what came up to my head that I decided to take it. Lucky enough the doctor did say that it should not do any harm. I took a tablet and worry about it after I read a lot of comments online.

A little girl who excellently played guitar and sang her song on Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday was an inspiration. We’ve known many little girls who could sing, but not the one who could do both. Our little girl actually was amazed. The thought of saving for the string guitar again came back to life. She is waiting until her 8th birthday as she wished it be our present.

Now again, I am looking for guitars online and came across with house-of-blues guitar dvds. Playing guitar would be easier this time with a guide. I might as well pick some from her while learning. We might surprise her one day.

School resumed yesterday and our morning started great, until it rained in the afternoon which to our girls was a great dismay. Spending time in bed is great too but a play at the park is much preferrable especially with toddlers who like a slide and a swing. With that they could go to sleep from night til the next morning as they are always exhausted. It is good to give them time to enjoy their childhood. It is not too much to ask. An hour at the park is what they love, not something that we have to spend money for that they should wait until we save some.

Our spring started early tis summer for at least 5 days of glorious sunshine and warm temperature. Today, it started sunny but the heat of sun could not withstand the chilly breeze that the wind brings. I think it is going to rain this afternoon again. Wish we could have kept some of the sunshine of that 5 days so we could spare it until we have enough of the heat.

There is a great decreased in the rate of unemployment, which is good news. The advice to help ourselves from poverty is through paid employment and not by relying on social welfare. I find that very true, indeed. It doesn’t only affect the tax payers but help the government overcome public budget’s deficit. With plenty of job offers online, it is not difficult for a jobseeker to find a job that he wants. I am looking forward to applying a job myself once we have settled with childminding and time management.I might need help with building my resume free from worries whether I am doing well or not. What qualifications I have missed and what should I avoid putting down that could bore employers from reading it. It’s been 7 years since I was on a paid employment and it would not be an easy job adjusting between the change of status and the environment.

“I am a big girl and I need to get the stabilizers off!”

That’s what every big girls qwould say I guess. They feel very responsible and think that things like cycling without support is as easy as ABC. However, my daughter is not very good at taking care of herself. Just last night, he hit her bumps on the pedal and cried til I assured her that nothing bad happened. After just a couple of hours, she went on cycling around the house again and fell, hit her leg on the same pedal and cried so much as she was scared that she might have broken her bone on her left leg. I was mad as I have told her to be extra careful and yet nothing was done to avoid any mishap. And here she says that she doesn’t need stabilizers? She is only 5 and still very small to be off it. Though I am happy that she is very confident about it. I know a lot of kids that are scared of cycling. She’s been cyling since she was 2 years old, though we haven’t really taken her outside on her own. It would have been a good ideas, as she suggested this, that she could cycle to school so we could save money on petrol, thus saving the earth.

Well, we will see how it goes this summer. I am just scared of those little legs whenever she falls on the ground. Protectors are there but are not 100% guarantee that it will protect her from hurting any of her body parts.

Musical instruments are appealing especially when we love music. It is something that we all want to invest. We want our children to learn play any instruments because once learnt, it would be with them for the rest of their lives. We don’t look at being at the top but enough that could help them in the future. We have elders in church that we didn’t know were very good with the church’s organ until our regular organist wasn’t available. We also used to sing in front of the piano before the junior lesson and the creché starts. I could play piano so when there is only me and the girls, there is no way we could do that.

With plenty of models and make of pianos in the market, we do not know which one to pick when the time comes.Aside from piano as I always mention, guitar is the second choice. We do not know which goes with just the guitar itself because I know there are pedals and all. I have seen Fulltone accessories and maybe we might just need to orient ourselves later on.

Sometimes complaining about staying at home and wanting to be out and about particularly around the shops is not a good idea. The whole week last week was boring, except when a friend from church invited us to the Zoo. We were just at home doing nothing, waiting for the day to be over and maybe morning the night as we obviously didn’t have anything to do. The complains I have had must have the ears of my husband aching that after Wednesday’s appointment at the hospital, he took us out to the park and to the shop. Then on Thursday we spent the day strolling around shops and be amazed by how much choices of everything we have. Obviously as we do not have anything left from the monthly budget, we didn’t get anything. We were just happy looking at products and plan to come back when the right time comes. Though that would mean that we are missing a lot, as sales do come often. The choices from pushchairs to beds to anything you could imagine are limitless.

We also do not have to spend money on food as I made sure that I feed them before we left. I also brought a couple of munchies for the little ones who could not stand window shopping. That was the first time that the husband went in with me to every shops I like to get in to and agreed not to spend even a penny.

The picnic went well as planned. The weather forecast was indeed true. It did rain a bit and the rest of the afternoon was just superb. The heat of the sun even was burning but we could not complain as we need it. The barbecue that we’ve been drooling about has come true and the kids enjoyed the playground so much.

Talking about endless eating yesterday,I felt like I need help with digestion. I should have taken easy on meat and I am feeling heavy until now. If it only is allowed, I would have considered slimming tea which could aid fast digestion. I also think diet pills would greatly help at times where eating is unavoidable. I read about banital that is good in supressing your appetite the whole day, click here for more information on banital if you want to read more great benefits yourself. I might be feeling heavy now but still the taste of great tasting barbecue and the company of friends at the park is something that I always look forward this summer.

It would be fun knowing that we finally found a schedule for our weekend barbeque tomorrow. It has been put on hold as I mentioned due to the poor weather forecast. Our friends have prepared their marinade and a few items to go with it and the kids are always the excited ones. The littles ones have their plans that they could go cycling round the park while the Mums are busy with the barbeque and the Dads will be busy chatting.

We did have our barbeque last year, same time where the kids are off school. It is the only time anyway that we all meet up on Easter break. There will be plenty of meetings to come, fingers crossed summer would be hot.
